This becomes an upcycle project when you use threadbare sheets, old shirts, or towels which aren’t terribly useful as towels anymore. =^.^= If you go with the towels, cut the strips a bit more narrow to make assembly easier. If the strips are less than an inch across and still too snug to push through with no tools, break out a crochet hook! (Or even a bobby pin)

Long Distance BFF Mugs

I thought of my BFF Sammy back in UT and I’m going to pull-up my crafting britches and try doing this. She loved the idea and I love it, too.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 white coffee mugs
  • Sharpies (black and red)
  • A long-distance BFF ♥

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  • Practice drawing your states on paper before putting them on the mugs
  • Put the mugs in the oven and bake for 45 minutes
  • You keep the mug with their state and mail your BFF the mug with your state on it - be sure to prep your package properly to prevent breakage!
